The Corvette Thunder in the Glen, is an annual festival hosted by Watkins Glen Promotions celebrating the iconic American sports car in the place where Harley Earl conceptualized the Corvette after attending the 1951 Watkins Glen Grand Prix.
This two-day event, typically held in mid-May, features a car show with Corvettes lining Clute Park Scenic Trailway, a special dinner with a Guest speaker, and a parade of Corvettes through downtown Watkins Glen.
